Senator Ede Dafinone pays inspection visit to Sapele Technical College, as school principal solicits development of school, replacement of worn out machines and tools

The Senator representing Delta Central senatorial district at the red Chambers, Chief Ede Dafinone alongside his entourage paid a working visit to the Sapele Technical College, (STC) located at Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State to assess the facilities and infrastructure in the institution on Monday, June 19th, 2023.
The Senator and his entourage were received by the School Principal Mrs Itawansa Rosemary, Mrs Ohwofasa Vice Principal Technical, Chief Godday Okpako, Chief Dickson Omoraka representatives of Okirighwere & Amukpe Community and other principal officers of the college.
During the visit, Senator Ede Dafinone noted that the Technical College needed renovation in some areas, as it will improve the standard of the school and enhance the interest of students to learn.
He however noted that some of the equipments and tools that had become moribund will be put in other to facilitate learning and improve the standard of education in the institution.
He noted that soon enough he would make a recommendation to the State and Federal Government for the provision of a transformer to the college to provide light, a key criteria to the smooth running of the college.
"Most of the equipments and tools needs light to function properly, so the first recommendation will be to provide light in the college" he said.
Earlier on, the School Principal Mrs Itawansa Rosemary had appealed to the Senator to use his office to develop the school and replace worn out machines and tools.
She added that if the machines and tools were in good working condition, it would go a long way in uplifting the standard of the school and the number of students who would turn up for admission.
Those who were present during the visit include Chief Eugene Inoaghan, ably represented by the Secretary of Council, Hon Felix Ayemidejor, Chief Paulinus Akpeki, Chief Ejaife Odebala, Chief Patrick Akamovba amongst others.
