Excos of Ovade, Ijomi communities in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State on Friday, June 30th, 2023 visited the Member Representing Sapele, Okpe, and Ethiope West Local Government Areas on the board of Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission, (DESOPADEC) Hon Julius Egbedi, to congratulate him on his recent appointment on the board.
Sapele Mirror News gathered that the Ovade, Ijomi Excos led by it's chairman, Mr Kelly Eraivwodie visited Chief Julius Egbedi at his residence in Sapele to pledge their unalloyed support for the new administration, adding that they will work in synergy with the DESOPADEC Commissioner to ensure that residents of oil bearing communities were he represent enjoys the dividend of the Sheriff Oborevwori's led administration.

Speaking further, Mr Kelly said; your appointment came with renew hope and we are confident in our heart that you will do great, considering your track record.

DESOPADEC is an interventionist board aimed at bringing sustainable development to oil bearing communities and we are sure of your capability to bring these development to Ovade, Ijomi he added.

We appeal to you to use your good office to transform Ovade, Ijomi communities into mega cities by renovation of class rooms, provision of pipe borne water, construction, rehabilitation of roads, provision of street lights, renovation of market and health center amongst other things that will bring development to Ovade Kelly said. 

Responding, the DESOPADEC Commissioner said; "I thank you all for coming to congratulate me. I have also listened to your request and in due time I shall act accordingly.

However, you can be rest assured that whatever that is due to Ovade, Ijomi communities, they will get it. I will work in synergy with you all for a better representation.
Speaking further, the board member said, this administration will witness massive infrastructural development to the benefit of all.
