Hon Julius Egbedi, Member Representing Sapele, Okpe and Ethiope West Local Government Areas on the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (DESOPADEC) has stated that he will use his tenure to serve the people.

Julius Egbedi stated this on Thursday, July 13th, 2023 when a crop of media men visited him at his residence in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Board Member while chatting with media men said; "I will use my tenure to serve the people, DESOPADEC is an interventionist Board, it was created to ameliorate the suffering of residents of oil bearing communities and as their representative, I will make my best possible to ensure that they get what is due to them.

Speaking further, the commissioner said, the Sheriff Oborevwori's administration would witness massive infrastructural development, and everyone would be carried along.
We have outlined various programs that will benefit the people and soon we would commense execution.

Staff of DESOPADEC will not be left out, there shall be improvement on staff welfare to ameliorate their suffering, improved working condition for them as well.

I will be creating an indelible record and changing the narrative for good to ensure that the people that I represent are happy, he added.
