The Executive Director of Projects, Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission DESOPADEC, Hon. Chief Taleb Tebite Ksc has assured constituents and oil producing communities of more dividend of democracy and good governance.

Tebite asserted this at a fanfare ceremony earlier today 29th July, 2023 at Oguname Community in Olomu Kingdom as Olomu/Effurun Otor Political Elites gave her illustrious sons, Senator Sir Chief Emmanuel Edesiri Aguariavwodo and Hon. Olorogun Taleb Tebite Ksc a civil reception.

The ceremony which was held in honour of the duo, former Managing Director, Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC and Senator who represented Delta Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Sen. Agwariavwodo and Hon. Olorogun Taleb Tebite Ksc, a former member who represented Ughelli South Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Asaba on their recently appointments.

Senator Agwariavwodo was appointed as Senior Political Adviser to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and Hon Sir Taleb Tebite as Executive Director of Projects, DESOPADEC.

In his brief address, the Olomu born linguist, Tebite thanked and commended the foremost political pressure group for the honour bestowed on him and his elder brother, distinguish Senator Emmanuel Edesiri Aguariavwodo, assured them of his continuous commitment and support toward the welfare of the group and the people of the ward and kingdom in general.

Speaking further, he (Tebite) emphasized and reiterated the  zeal and commitment of the  current management team of DESOPADEC board to consolidate and improve on the achievements of the commission in enhancing even development and inclusiveness governance in oil producing communities in the state which is inline with the MORE agenda of Gov Oborevwori led administration.

On his part, the Senior Political Adviser to the Governor, Sen. Agwariavwodo lauded the love show on them (Him and Tebite) by the group, appreciate their kind gestures, assured them, constituents and Deltans of their desires to bring development to the people at the grassroots.

Also speaking, a business mogul and chieftain of the People's Democratic Party PDP in Delta State, Chief John Oguma called on all and sundries to work in synergy for the growth and development of the party, PDP, Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State and humanity in general.

The Chairman People's Democratic Party PDP in Delta Central Senatorial Districts, Hon. Chief A. P Fovie also in his address applauded the group, admonished them to remain focus toward the party affairs, assured all, of the party willingness to carry all groups and organs along, stressed that "this event is first of his kind" in the council area.

Earlier, in his welcome address, the Chairman of Olomu/Effurun Otor Political Elites, Chief Ewenede John Akaruayen welcome dignitaries, highlighted the forum aims and objectives which include promotion of the party activities and mobilization of its members, electorates among others.

Further, Ewenede thanked His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State and his prodecessor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa for the privilege given to their illustrious sons and leaders to serve Deltans in various capacities.

The ceremony held at Don Chisle Hotel, Oguname-Olomu was attended by leaders and elders of the People's Democratic Party PDP and government functionaries among whom are; Hon. Dr Richard Kofi Executive Chairman, Ughelli South L.G.A, Hon Festus Eseoghene Utuama member representing Ughelli South Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly.
