Okpe Youth Council, Ugborhen, pays courtesy visit to DESOPADEC Commissioner, Julius Egbedi

Okpe Youth Council, Ugborhen Community has paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Commissioner representing Sapele, Okpe and Ethiope West Local Government Areas on the Board of DESOPADEC, Chief Julius Egbedi on Thursday, June  15th, 2023 at his country home in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
The group which was led by it's leader Mr Sunday Akpolo said that they were elated by the appointment of Hon Julius Egbedi into the Board of DESOPADEC, hence they have come to celebrate with him for his successful inauguration.
Speaking further, Sunday Akpolo said that apart from coming to congratulate the DESOPADEC boss, they also want to use the visit to introduce the new exco of Okpe Youth Council, Ugborhen Community to the DESOPADEC boss.
Sunday Akpolo said that there could not have been a better choice for the position, while noting that Julius Egbedi will bring the dividends of government to it's people.
Hon Julius Egbedi while responding, thanked members of the group for coming. I am very excited to see you all, your coming to introduce members of your exco to me, shows that you hold me in high esteem and I feel very honoured.
DESOPADEC is an interventionist board, to assist the people of oil bearing communities, and I want to assure you that Ugborhen Community will get what is due to them as far DESOPADEC is concern.
I will do well to run an open door policy, and do my best to ensure that everyone feels the positive impact of government, he said.
Present during the courtesy visit are Irhurhu Stephen, Isaiah Okpetsegha, Meshack Tereyi, Agbamu Sunday, Gladys Eminerhie, Adoke Alex, Julius Gbogboloshe.
Others include Sunday Wekan, Joshua Ugwojor, Godwin Otitigbe and Hon Clifford Ishuni.
