London Akpanoko gifts wrappers, cash to journalist as NUJ sets to hold mega thanksgivings service

Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Jesse, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief London Owhofasa Akpanoko has supported the Nigeria Union of Journalist, Sapele Correspondence Chapel with bundles of wrapper and cash gifts ahead of its mega thanksgivings.

Chief London Owhofasa Akpanoko made this donation, when members of the union paid him a thank you visit at his country home in Idjerhe Kingdom.
The Chairman of the Union, Comrade Nelson Agbajor who spoke on behalf of the members said; "you were a strong pillar of the PDP during the last election, your unalloyed support gave PDP it's victory in Jesse, which reflected in the entire Ethiope West result and Delta State at large.

We thank you for supporting the choice of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and pray that in due time, you will receive the reward  of your good deeds. You have always supported Journalist across Delta State in your own capacity and we are happy to have a young man of your capacity in our generation.
Chief London Owhofasa Akpanoko on his part, thanked members of the union for coming, while presenting wrappers and cash gift. The media are the gate keepers of information, they are the mouth piece of Politicians and serve as the link between the government and the people, and we must endeavor to support them in their work and encourage them in any way we can, he said.

I will continue to do my best to support Journalist, new media men and women in my capacity, I also congratulate the Chief Press Secretary Mr Festus Ahon to His Excellency the Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, his emergence shows that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has a place for Journalist in his administration, and we shall follow in his footsteps accordingly, he added.
