Julius Egbedi appreciates Journalist for supporting Oborevwori, assures 100% partnership

The Member Representing Sapele, Okpe and Ethiope West Local Government Areas on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Hon Julius Egbedi has appreciated Journalist for supporting His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State in the last election and assuring them of 100% partnership.
Hon Julius Egbedi who was playing host to Journalist on Monday, June 26th, 2023 during a courtesy visit made to him by members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Sapele Correspondent Chapel at his country home in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, thank members of the union for the visit.
Journalist play a very vital role in society, they play the special duty of keeping the public informed at all times, without Journalist in society, information cannot be disseminated easily, he said.
I appreciate you all for the role you played during the last election by promoting Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, I want to assure you all that my administration will give Journalist 100% support. I will do well to carry you all he reiterated.
He also urged Journalist to endeavor to verify issues before going public with it. If there are issues that needs clarification, please feel free to call on me, he added.

Responding, the union Chairman Comrade Nelson Agbajor thanked the DESOPADEC Commissioner for the hospitality shown to members of the union.

I want to assure you that members of the union will be present to cover every of your activities and give you positive coverage at all time, he said.
