Eid-el Kabir: Julius Egbedi salutes Muslim faithful.

The Member Representing Sapele Okpe and Ethiope West Local Government Areas on the board of Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission, (DESOPADEC), Chief Hon Julius Eyetan Egbedi, has felicitated with Muslims across the country on this year's celebration of Eid-el-Kabir.

In his Eid-el-Kabir message, Hon Julius Egbedi called on Muslims to continue to imbibe the spirit of love, peace, kindness and sacrifice, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

Egbedi noted that Eid-el-Kabir, Islam's feast of sacrifice, is very significant to the Islamic faith, "as it reminds us of the imperative of unconditional obedience to Allah, the Most Merciful".

He added that; "through total submission to His will, we can confidently confront our challenges as individuals and as a nation, assured that Allah the Most Merciful will intervene decisively at the most appropriate time.

"As people of faith, therefore, let us continue to seek the face of the Almighty in our various homes".

As Muslims faithful celebrate the feast of sacrifice with worship, I salute them and wish them a happy celebration, he added.
