DESOPADEC Urhobo Staff Visits Hon Julius Egbedi

The Executives of the Urhobo Staff Association of the Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (DESOPADEC) led by Chief Felix Ogboru, it's president, on Friday, June 16th, 2023 paid a familiarization visit to Chief Julius Egbedi, Commissioner representing Sapele, Okpe and Ethiope West Local Government Areas on the board of DESOPADEC.
Speaking to news men, the President of DESOPADEC Urhobo Staff Association (DUSA), Chief Felix Ogboru said that members of his exco have come to familiarize themselves with the newly sworn in Commissioner.
DESOPADEC is a body of different oil producing ethnic nationality and we are staff of the Urhobo ethnic nationality. When we heard of your appointment, we thought it necessary to familiarize ourselves with you, hence we have come, he said.
We also came to congratulate you on your appointment and to pledge our unalloyed support for you sir. We promise to cooperate and work in synergy with you for the growth and development of the Urhobo nation.
Hon Julius Egbedi while responding to them, thanked them for their visit, your coming has shown to me that you are happy with my appointment.
I want to assure you of full cooperation, so that we can work together and improve on what we met. I will not disappoint you all, I will work with the DUSA Exco and endeavor to do what is right for the Urhobo ethnic nationality.
Residents of the oil bearing communities of the three local government area where I represent will be adequately taken care of. We will embark on life changing programs that will be visible to all. Once again, I thank you all for coming he said.
