Sapele residents rejoice as Julius Egbedi is confirmed board member DESOPADEC

It was a moment of great jubilation at the resident of Chief Julius Egbedi in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State as House of Assembly screen and confirmed him as Commissioner to represent Okpe, Sapele & Ethiope West Local Government Areas in the board of DESOPADEC on Friday, May 26th, 2023.
Residents who troop in their numbers to celebrate with the former Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources danced and gave praises to Almighty God for his appointment.

Hon Francis Okpigben who spoke to newsmen, one of Sapele residents who came to celebrate with the newly appointed Commissioner said that; "Hon Julius Egbedi has done well in previous positions that he held, he will change the narrative as a member in the board of DESOPADEC, he said.
Hon Stanley Eshanomi a.k.a Stanley boss who congratulated the newly appointed Commissioner, said; my heart is filled with so much joy, this appointment is well deserved and I know that Hon Julius Egbedi will attract meaningful projects to the oil bearing communities that he will be representing. 

Hon Julius Egbedi while addressing newsmen during his reception said that DESOPADEC was created to meet the needs and aspiration of residents of oil producing areas and as board member to represent the Okpe, Sapele & Ethiope West areas, he will do his best to impact lives and ensure that residents from the area which he represent will benefit from the board.
Mr Oghenewaire on his part said that the board of DESOPADEC was created to assist residents of oil bearing communities, he therefore appealed to the newly sworn in commissioner to impact lives and change the narratives.
The ceremony which witness large numbers of Sapele residents had enough food and assorted drinks to entertain guest.
