The Man; Archbishop Godday Iboyi

The birth of Overflow Chapel

After fully accepting the call, the young pastor Godday Iboyi with the support of few persons swung into action immediately by starting the Overflow Chapel Ministry on September 26, 2002 with the mandate of taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to every part of the earth. His early ministerial works saw him held series of crusades in hard to reach villages where many gave their lives to God.

The name "Overflow"  was drawn from Psalm 23 verse 5,  which says ‘I will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies, and your cup will overflow’. This was the promise of God to the young prophet that no matter the challenges he may come across in the course of carrying out this heavenly assignment, he will surely overcome and the ministry will blossom with signs and wonders.

God told pastor Godday Iboyi that anyone who believes and support the vision, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. He said the ministry will be characterized with an overflow of healing, deliverance and overflow of miracles. We shall look at his ministerial impact on the lives of people later on.

His ministry is centered on evangelism, that is why he has held series of crusades across villages, town and some major cities in Delta and Edo States. Today, the ministry has 12 branches with over 40 ministers with a large congregants. It is one of the fastest growing ministry in Nigeria with the evidence of God's presence everywhere.
