For some people, they are in politics to serve personal interest, accumulate primitive wealth, become famous and wield power to enhance social status. For these class of politicians, politics is about self and self alone.

To some other patriotic citizens, they get involve in politics to impact lives, attract development to country, state or communities. For them, politics and political power is essentially to bring about development, upscale quality of life for majority of the people, empower youth and women, spread happiness and dividends of democracy across board.
The principal Secretary to Delta State Governor, Hilary Ibegbulem is conspicuously visible in the second and higher realm of political enterprise; impacting lives positively, attracting development to his community, and spreading dividends of democracy to his teeming supporters, political sons and daughters within and outside the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
PSG Hilary has done so much for the youth, bought cars for a reasonable number of his supporters, paid bill, paid school fees and sponsored marriage and birthday ceremonies across the three senstorial districts and many more philanthropic gestures.

And on Friday, he unveiled a major project, built and donated a Multi-Purpose Hall to his Idumu-Ezeaja community in Ute-Okpu, Ika North East Local Government Area, his native homeland, his place of birth.

Trust Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his amiable wife, Her Excellency, Dame Edith Okowa, Convener of 05 Initiative; a nonprofit and nongovernmental organization that also impacted lives positively in nearly eight years and counting. They were on hand to commission the multi million Naira super project built, equipped and donated by his PSG in line with Okowa's Stronger Delta agenda.

Okowa is different from other state governors for many reasons. He's always elated each time any of his Aide impacts people positively and attract development to their communities. 

Gov Okowa eulogized his Principal Secretary, Hilary, essentially for his philanthropic strides and for single handedly funding the multi purpose hall project from start to finish. The governor was indeed very happy, he could not  hide his joy through the commissioning of the project.

The magnificent hall is well furnished, superlatively equipped with modern facilities, superb solar energy to ensure regular power supply. The interior is of a kind, a masterclass and a beauty to behold; one of the  finest public edifice in Ika nation, and I stand to be corrected.

Hilary Ibegbulem is indeed a role model for the youth and upcoming young politicians, always willing and ready to give a helping hand, pushing vibrant youth to climb the ladder of success through active participation in politics and service to humanity.

I congratulate the good people of Idumu-Ezeaja in Ote-Okpu community, Ika North East of Delta State, for this yet another gift of a classy Multi Purpose Hall from Gov Okowa's PSG.

Thanks to Hilary, the man of the people and the Chief mentor of Delta Youth in Politics and patron of "Not Too Young To Lead," coalition. Bravo!!!
