A LITTLE ABOUT, THE MAN DR GODFREY ENITA

The name Dr Godfrey Enita is known to those who love education, though a strong player in Sapele Politics, he loves to play it low. Dr Godfrey Enita has come a long way in Sapele Politics and has made his impact as a political player in the  trajectory of Sapele Politics.

He is a grassroot Politician and started his political career with the position of Supervisor for Education under the then Chief Joseph Egigba led administration.
He was the pioneer Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, from 1998 - 1999 and rose to the position of the Executive Chairman of Sapele Local Government Council from 2002 to 2003.

His flare for education has distinguish him from other regular Politicians, and his pursuit for wisdom, inspired him to gain more knowledge, so he went back to school to earn a PhD in Philosophy and rose to the position of a senior lecturer at the Delta State University, Abraka, popularly known as DELSU.

He was nominated as one of the most influential Politician in Delta State with a calm acumen by Chief Charles Ufuoma Obule in 2018. 

Again, has God would have it, Dr Godfrey Enita was appointed as member, Governing Council of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro and University of Delta, Agbor were he brought in his educational prowess to bare.

He was recently appointed as the Hon Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources were he served meritoriously under the Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa led administration which is almost elapsing.

Dr Godfrey Enita is currently a member of the inaugural committee saddle with responsibility of planning and implementing a valedictory dinner to herald the inauguration ceremony for the new State administration on May 29th, 2023.
