OKPANAM YOUTH ORGANISATION CONGRATULATES OBOREVWORI, ONYEME, ESENWAH ON ELECTORAL VICTORIES

The Okpanam Youth Organisation has Congratulated the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and Sir Chief Monday Onyeme on their landslide victory in the March 18, 2023 Governorship election.
A statement from the President-General of Okpanam Youth Organisation (OYO), Comrade Lucky Okolo and the Secretary-General, Comrade Fidelis Okonma , said that the emergence of Rt. Hon. Oborevwori at the State Governor- elect was a reflection of the universal acceptability of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate by the majority of Deltans and electorates in particular.
Comrade Okolo and Comrade Okonma , however, expressed confidence that as a grassroots politician and pan Deltan, Rt. Hon. Oborevwori would expound the frontier of unprecedented development in the State, adding that the victory was well deserved.
The duo in the statement further described Rt. Hon. Oborevwori as a resilient and committed leader whose outstanding and effective leadership had been brought to bear as the Speaker of the State House of Assembly.
While saying that the expectations of Deltans from the Governor-elect were high especially in terms of governance and people oriented policies that would bring the desired transformation, the Okpanam Youth President-General and Secretary-General affirmed that the incoming administration of Rt. Hon. Oborevwori would build on the achievements of Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
Also in the statement, the duo felicitated with the House of Assembly member-elect for Oshimili North, Hon. Barr. Frank Esenwah on his resounding victory in the polls , describing the victory as an affirmation of the will of the people of Oshimili North who were yearning for equity and fairness.
Comrade Okolo and Comrade Okonma , who pledged the unalloyed support and loyalty of the youths and the people of his community to the incoming administration of Rt. Hon. Oborevwori, stressed the need for the Oborevwori's government to bring more development to Okpanam community.
