Former Publicity Secretary of the Delta State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and a community leader, Chief London Owhofasa Akpanoko on Thursday, March 23rd, 2023 congratulated the Delta State Governor Elect on his victory at the poll last Saturday, March 18th, 2023.
 Akpanoko, while addressing newsmen in Idjerhe Kingdom, Jesse, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, said; he was confident in Oborevwori's ability to perform to the expectations of the people.

 The Idjerhe Chief described Sheriff Oborevwori as a capable hand insisting that he would perform excellently well in office.

“The emergence of Oborevwori will allow the continuation of the purposeful and people-centred administration in Delta State which Senator Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa is noted for.
“The Delta State Governor-elect has a foundation to build on".
“He is no doubt capable of carrying on the banner of making Delta State more greater based on the existing roadmap".

Okpanoko also commended members of the Pressure group, Delta Central 2023, popularly known as DC 23, the Urhobo nation for their role in the speaker's emergence.

“The role of DC 23 cannot be overemphasized and the Urhobo nation as a whole, they were the first to choose Oborevwori, stood by him and endorse him among the whole lot, they saw the potential in him and they moved to choose him 
He praised the body leader, Senator Ighoyota Amori as a man with great foresight, whose contribution to the emergence of Oborevwori as huge.

  "Amori is a great leader who has great leadership qualities and we are all proud of him". He has this foresight and everything he does is meticulously calculated. He is a leader like no other "Akpanoko said.

In continuation, Akpanoko also thanked the Delta State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olorogun Barr Kingsley Esiso, the Party's leadership in Ethiope West and all party faithful across Delta State for supporting Sheriff Oborevwori to emerge as Governor elect.
