AMB. SIR FELIX IDEH URGES OKPANAM, AMACHAI KINGSMEN, CHRISTIANS TO VOTE OBOREVWORI

A Senior Special Assistant to Delta State Governor in the office of the Secretary to the State Government, Amb. Sir Felix Ideh has admonished his kingsmen in Amachai Quarters and Okpanam community in general to embrace and support the positive vision of the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori by voting enmass for him in the March 18 Governorship and House of Assembly election.
Amb. Sir.Ideh, who gave the admonition at Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area while addressing newsmen shortly after he led other PDP leaders in Amachai for door to door campaign ahead of the March 18 election, stated that Rt. Hon. Oborevwori would sustain the developmental strides of Okowa led administration not only in the area but the state at large.
He said that the community had benefitted immensely from the Okowa administration in the area of road infrastructure, building and upgrading of schools and human capital development as well as political appointments.
Amb. Sir Ideh hinted that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa had approved the sum of 1.9 billion naira for the counterpart funding of Amachai/Igwogwo road to Akwuku Igbo and erosion site control, Ogbeozoma road/erosion site control and Obodogba Vanguard area erosion control among other, which he said would be financed and constructed by the world Bank and European Investment Bank.
The Governor's aide , who explained that these critical infrastructure might be terminated if any other political party other than the PDP wins the Governorship election, stressed the importance of appreciating the governor with overwhelming votes for Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and all the PDP House of Assembly candidate, Barr. Frank Esenwa.
He recalled that as an indigene of Amachai Quarters, he had continuously interfaced with his kingsmen with a view to finding out the infrastructural needs of his people, adding that the people had collectively identified roads and light as their major needs .
He further stated that through the assistance of the Secretary to the State Government , Chief Patrick Ukah , they had embarked on the maintenance of some of the roads so as to ease the stress they undergo using the roads , noting that the installation of street lights had also commenced.
Amb. Sir Ideh reminded the good people of Okpanam that before the inception of the Okowa administration in 2015, despite being a neighbouring town to the State capital had not had it so good as there were no visible government presence in the area, saying that the PDP led administration in the state had always carried Okpanam community in the scheme of things.
The SSA also took the campaign to St. Peters Anglican Church, Amachai Quarters, Okpanam where he told Christians that Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori was the righteous and announted one to occupy Delta State Government House and urged them to vote wisely on March 18 .
