*Smart Asekutu looses father, says I had a great relationship with my father*

Executive Chairman of Warri North Council Hon Smart Yomi Asekutu has recently lost his father.

Late Pa Ominijei Asekutu Ukoko Simeon died on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 at about 11pm at the age 83, after a brief illness.

Hon Smart Yomi Asekutu, while describing his father said; my father was my role model. We had a father and son relationship. He worked for me selflessly.

I thank God genuinely for the life that my father gave me and the life that my father lived.

God kept me alive, because it is not his will that children should die before their father, I give God all the glory, because my being alive today is to fulfill the scripture, he said.

We are yet to fix a date for his burial ceremony, as soon as the family does, we will communicate to the public, he added.

Friends and family have continued to troop in to pay condolences to the family.
