*Orodje of Okpe Kingdom Confers Chieftaincy Title on Godwin Meke*

Godwin Toritseju Meke has been conferred with the Chieftaincy Title of the Ugbenu of Okpe Kingdom by His Royal Majesty, Major General Felix Mujakperuo Orhue 1, CFR, Mni, the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022.
The conferment ceremony which took place at the Udogun Hall,  Orerokpe in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, witnessed prominent sons and daughters of Okpe Kingdom who came from far and near to witness the epoch making ceremony.
The conferment of chieftaincy title on Godwin Toritseju Meke as the Ugbenu of Okpe Kingdom by the Orodje of Okpe was done considering his antecedent and his immense contributions to the development of Okpe Kingdom.
The new Chief thanked his Royal Majesty for finding him worthy to be amongst his Chief in the Kingdom, while noting that he will do everything within his power to promote the Okpe Kingdom
His Royal Eminence, Archbishop Godday Iboyi while addressing newsmen during the chieftaincy ceremony said that there was need for them to put God first in their life. Speaking further, he congratulated them and wish them well in their endeavors.
Dignitaries who were present during the chieftaincy ceremony include Chief Charles Ufuoma Obule, Chief Paulinus Akpeki, Chief Eugene Inoaghan, Hon Austine Ayemidejor, Chief James Augoye, Chief Dickson Omoraka, Chief Godday Okpako amongst others.
