Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, Austyn Opubor was on Friday, December 16th, 2022 conferred as the Orherhen of Okpe Kingdom by His Royal Majesty, Major General Felix Mujakperuo Orhue 1, CFR, Mni, Orodje of Okpe Kingdom.
The ceremony saw dignitaries such as Chief Felix Anirah, Chief Charles Ufuoma Obule, Chief Barr Kingsley Esiso, Chief Eugene Inoaghan, Hon Austine Ayemidejor, Archbishop Godday Iboyi, Chief James Augoye, Chief Professor Sam Oyovbare, Chief Paulinus Akpeki, Chief Julius Egbedi, Chief Perkins Umukoro, Chief Godwin Meke, Chief Benson Okorodudu, Hon Bright Abeke, Chief Godday Okpako, Chief Aghogho Adibor, Hon Richard Randy Okotie, Hon Festus Pemu, Hon Stanley Eta Eshanomi, Hon Francis Okpigben, Hon Duke Azan, Hon Felix Ayemidejor, Hon Aligba, Barr Bawo Edema, Mr Stanley Edema, and several others who came to witness the epoch making ceremony.
The Orodje of Okpe Kingdom while conferring on Austyn Opubor the chieftaincy title alongside 16 others, emphasize on the need to promote the Okpe culture.
Austyn Opubor, "the Orherhen of Okpe Kingdom" thanks all those who came from far and near to grace the event, for their show and love and concern.
