Christmas: Residents of ward 3, unit 14 receives several bags of rice, groundnut oil, cash from Eguonor Ejokpaoghene

Mr Amb Eguonor Ejokpaoghene has gifted several bags of rice, jericans of groundnut oil and cash gifts to residents of ward 3, unit 14.
Mr Amb Eguonor Ejokpaoghene while addressing newsmen said that he gave out the items in the spirit of Christmas.
Christmas is a season of giving and receiving and I thought it would be nice to put smile on the faces of those voting in ward 3, unit 14.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, ward 3 Chairman Mr Clinton Onowakpona, who spoke on the kind gesture of Mr Eguonor Ejokpaoghene described the gesture as selfless.
Things are very expensive at the market, and considering the current situation in our country it is not easy, but the young man has brought out cash from his pocket to buy over 500 bags of rice and groundnut oil just to put smile on the faces of party men and women, without receiving support from the party or any individual, I commend him for that.
I want to thank him on behalf of the people of ward 3 and the party in general he said.
Chief Perkins Umukoro, Chief Benson Okorodudu, Hon Lucky Edeh, Barr Arierie Odiete, who took out turns to speak commended Mr Ejokpaoghene for the gifts items that he gave out to the residence, while noting that they were appreciative of the kind gesture shown to the people.
One of the beneficiaries, who gave her name as Edith Ekinonena, told news men that they were indeed very appreciative of what they have received.
We have been receiving rice from the party, but this is the first time that an individual is taking the responsibility all by himself. He has made our Christmas colourful and God Almighty will add colour to his life, she added.
Party faithful who were on ground to grace the ceremony include Hon Francis Okpigben, Hon DCN Festus Akume, Chief Aghogho Adibor, Hon Henry Omosuvie, Hon Vieru Ubogu and a host of other dignatries.
