Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and prominent chief from Idjerhe Kingdom, Jesse in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State has recently bagged another chieftaincy title from Otor-Udu, Udu Local Government Area of Delta on Saturday, December 17th, 2022, as the Onutugo of Udu Kingdom.
The conferment ceremony which took place at the Royal Palace, saw sons, and daughters of Udu Kingdom who came from far and near to add grandeur to the event.
His Royal Majesty, Emmanuel Bethel Delekpe, Owhorhu 1 while conferring the title of Onutugo on Chief London Owhofasa Akpanoko and his wife Mrs Queen Akpanoko as the Opha both of Udu Kingdom advise them to do things that will promote the affairs of the Kingdom.
Chief London Owhofasa Akpanoko, the Onutugo of Udu Kingdom while addressing newsmen thanked the Ovie of Udu Kingdom for given him and his wife the honour to be part of the epoch making ceremony.
I feel very honoured to have made the list, being a Chief amongst Chiefs from Udu Kingdom is a great honour and I thank HRM Emmanuel Bethel Delekpe, Owhorhu 1 for the honour.
I want to also appreciate my family and friends who joined me to palace to receive the honour, I pray that the good Lord will bless you all in Jesus name, he said.

In accordance with the traditional rites, the eating and drinking ceremony is expected to elapse after seven days of merriment.
