*Warri North Council Chairman Begins Disbursement of Constituency Project Money to Councilors*

The Executive Chairman of Warri North Local Government Council Area, Hon Smart Yomi Asekutu has began disbursement of funds to his Councilors for their constituency projects to enable them execute a meaningful project in their various wards, that they represent.

Hon Smart Yomi Asekutu while addressing newsmen said that the Delta State Government has approved two million naira for each Councilor across the 25 Local Government Area of Delta State and on his part, he decided to add one million naira to make it 3 million naira for his Councilors, to enable them execute a meaningful project in their various ward.

Speaking further, Asekutu said that; due to the paucity of funds, he decided to give the money meant for Constituency Projects in badges, while noting that for every month, he picks two Councilors and give them three million naira each, and he has been consistent for the last five months. 

I have been able to pay 10 Councilors from the 20 serving Councilors that we have in Warri North Local Government Area, hopefully the other 10 Councilors will get their constituency money soon, to enable them execute their Projects, he said.
