Chief Cyril Ogodo, the Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor and the Director General of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Campaign team in Sapele Local Government Area, has thanked His Excellency, Senator Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, the Delta State PDP chairman, Barr Kingsley Esiso, the governorship candidate Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, for appointing him to lead the Sapele LGA Campaign team.

 Ogodo, also thanked the party leaders of Sapele for the confidence reposed in him.

Chief Cyril, in a statement made available to Newsmen at his country home in Sapele on Sunday, November 6th, 2022 said he would continue to support the party for it's visible development and commitment in bringing the dividends of democracy to the people.

“The opportunity and responsibility to serve Africa's biggest party, the PDP and the state as the DG of Sapele Local Government Area campaign team
is truly humbling.

“I am most grateful for the confidence and trust demonstrated by the State Governor Senator Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, the Party Chairman Delta State, Chief Barrister Kingsley Esiso and all other PDP chiefs.

“I have been in the wilderness and I am currently back and like I said previously, there won't be any opposition by the time 2023 election comes around, the proper journey of take back our country has truly began.

The EA also thanked party faithful for their cooperation since his return to the party.

“Everyone has been cooperative and I must commend them for that, The job is an easy one since we have a Governor who has performed beyond measures and his developmental projects are visible for every one to see" he narrated.

He promised to work assiduously to win next year's election for the PDP, from the unit to ward level, the target is winning of all the elections from the House of Assembly to House of Representatives to the State Governor and to the Presidency, we will win five over five he assured.
