*Sapele:Several Vehicles Burnt Down As Fire Engulfs Mechanic Village*

Eight vehicles including an exotic Lexus and a brand new Mercedes Benz recently brought from Lagos were part of the vehicles razed by fire yesterday night in Sapele, Delta State.

Some eyewitnesses told reporters that the fire started around 10am yesterday morning however the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained as at the time of putting up this report, but feeders have it that the fire might have been put up by a fellow mechanic who might be obvious of the success of another mechanic.

Some of the mechanics who spoke with newsmen thanked God that no life was lost from what they described as a ‘mysterious’ fire.

An eyewitness, Victor Ojubu said: “This is the second time fire has engulfed this mechanic village alone and we cannot blame it on anyone, except us, we need to be extra careful" he said.

The mechanic who said his shop was destroyed too said some of his members had removed their properties from their shops before the raging fire became uncontrollable. Ojubu however, said nobody could ascertain how the fire started.

"Personally, I don’t have an idea of what caused it, we heard that some people just saw the fire around the area where these cars are sold,” he said.

When visited, a part of the building had collapsed while the roof was completely razed by fire. Items such as carcass of cars burnt were visible at the sight.
