It was a day of academic accomplishment for pupils/students of Obule Integrated Schools, Sapele, Delta State, as they marked their graduation/prize giving day ceremony.
The event which was held on Tuesday August 23rd, 2022 at the school auditorium witness influx of dignatries, parents, teachers, students and pupils.
Chief Felix Anirah, Chief Eugene Inoaghan, Chief Godwin Dadi, Hon Oti Agoba, Very Rev. Fr. Barr. Dr. Edmund Tansi Emakpor, Dr. Mrs. Omagbemi M.A, Prof Tonikari, Mrs L.E. Okolin, Chief Lucky Oyibo, Hon Churchill Ayomanor, Hon Peter Eferurie Adjemiyontan, Hon Francis Okpigben , Comrade Odebala were amongst the dignitaries who grace the ceremony.
Aside from having an exciting time, the audience was thrilled with lots of educating presentations from French language demonstration to news cast and debate.
Other performance include barley dance, musical demonstration by the school choirs and cultural display.
The school principal Mr Onojafe Alvin during his speech appreciated the pupils and students for their devotion to learning while urging them to continue with the same enthusiasm at all times.
The CIE Sapele local government area Dr. Mrs. Omagbemi in her speech said that she was indeed elated to be part of the ceremony, while appreciating the pupils and students for their brilliant performance.
She also appreciated the proprietor, staff and parents for the role they played towards ensuring that the event was a success.
The Proprietor, Chief Charles Ufuoma Obule expressed gratitude and appealed to parents to always ensure that their ward engaged in extra curricular activities at all times, while rewarding staffs who has devoted their time to the smooth running of the school.
The Proprietress and Director of studies Chief (Mrs) Rosemary Obule commended the pupils and students for their dedication to learning. We are very passionate about laying a firm foundation and making positive impacts in the lives of our students.
I thank the parents for their patronage and wish all our pupils and students a very happy holiday, she added.
A graduating Student Miss Akpoveta Ufuoma Christabel who could not bottle her joy said that she feels happy for being one of the best graduating students, while noting that she will miss her teachers and friends as well.
Highlight of the ceremony was presentation of gifts and awards to outstanding pupils and students.
