*Excitement Rocks Sapele Okpe Community As Onoriode Temiagin Emerges As Chairman*

Chief Onoriode Temiagin on Sunday August 14th, 2022 defeated Mr Moses Olokpa and two other to clinch the position of the community chairman of Sapele Okpe.

The election which was conducted at the Sapele Okpe Community Hall in Sapele local government area of Delta State saw
Chief Onoriode Temiagin winning a total of 162 votes, to defeat his closest rival Moses Olokpa, who got 34 votes to come second.

Other contestants who participated in the election got 4 votes and 1 vote respectively.

Announcing the result of the election, the chairman of the election committee Chief Babuba Abeke declared Chief Onoriode Temiagin winner, while noting that he was appointed to conduct the election because of his integrity.
Chief Babuba Abeke said that the election was free fair and transparent as could be since from the excitement of community members who was on ground to witness the election. He urge the newly elected chairman and members of his exco to be transparent in their dealing with members of the community and endeavor to carry everyone along.

Others who emerged for other vital position are Onoriode Ogodo Vice Chairman, Raphael Ojagbeghru Secretary, Arusuane Akoko Assistant Secretary, Freeborn Obire Financial Secretary, Akpojaro Anirah Treasurer, Ufuoma Atose Spoke Person, Ayomanor Jehiakim PRO, Roland Onomor Ex-official Egborode quarter, Akpobasa Prince Ex-official Oton quarter, Keke Abeke Ex-official Etamua quarter, and Ejiro Ogodo as Ex-official for Ogodo quarter.
Speaking to press men the newly elected community chairman Chief Onoride Temiagin said that he was indeed elated that members of the community as bestow on him the position of a community chairman, while noting that he will not mis-use his office for selfish and personal gains.

Speaking accordingly, Chief Onoriode Temiagin said that he will run an all inclusive government and ensure that everyone is carried along, he ended his speech by saying, "expect something new".

Those who were on ground to ensure that a free, fair, and credible election was conducted include Frontline Senatorial Candidate for the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Ede Dafinone who also doubles as the Chairman of Land Trust Sapele Okpe Community, Executive Chairman of Sapele local government area Chief Eugene Inoaghan.
Others are Chief Godwin Dadi, Chief Godwin Atose, Chief Moses Ogodo, Hon Harrison Ekeleme and a host of other dignatries.
