I, Edward Ederaine, former President of Okpe in North America have been informed that, the Sapele-Okpe Community will be holding its election soon to elect a new Executive that will pilot the affairs of the Community.

To say the least, I am very impressed by the quality and caliber of persons who have indicated interest to contest for the Chairmanship position, particularly the person of Ekpeme Temiagin, a young man who has shown so much commitment over the years towards the development of Sapele and Okpe in general.

 Ekpeme Temiagin, who is the Project Coordinator of Sapele Center For Development and as well as the initiator of the Okpe Food Security and Economic Empowerment Initiative, has an enviable track record, which he brought to bear in steering the affairs of Sapele Center For Development, which the Okpe Union North America, which I led as President, partnered with in several occasions in carrying out some of our local activities.

 l dare say that, Sapele Okpe Community will benefit immensely from the sincere and result-oriented leadership of Ekpeme Temiagin.

However, as one of the flagship of our Kingdom, I wish the Sapele Okpe Community a peaceful and successful election,
this been an election of kins. 

l will say, let love lead.
