*Anirah Congratulates Sheriff Over Appeal Court Victory, Says It is the Handiwork of God*

The Court of Appeal in Abuja installment of Sheriff Oborevwori as the duly nominated governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State has been described as the handiwork of God by Hon Felix Anirah, member representing Sapele constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.

A three-member panel of the appellate court led by Olabisi Ige, on Monday had overturned the lower court’s decision to replace Oborevwori's name with that of the plaintiff, David Edevbie, who came second at the primary, and affirmed Mr Oborevwori as the PDP governorship candidate in Delta State.

Making the assertion yesterday in response to the Appealant Court ruling, Anirah said the victory at the Appeal court did not come as a surprise despite the tension it created.

The Okpe high chief, and President of Felix Anirah Foundation, a non governmental organisation, however said there was certainly a hand of God in the Oborevwori's victory.

I am delighted on the speaker's victory, the victory is the work of God. I sincerely congratulate him and send my best wishes for every success and wisdom in discharging the important and responsible duties as the state party candidate in next year's election.

The DTHA member also called for peace between those involved in the litigation saying it's a win-win situation for the two parties "everyone is a PDP member so let's bury our hatchet and move on, we must embrace peace and be united towards next year's election, we must learn to accept the judgement and forge on" adding that PDP will win next year's election convincingly.
