*Sapele: Wife Of Delta Governor Celebrates 61st Birthday Anniversary With Prison Inmates*

The wife of the governor of Delta State and founder of the 05 Initiative Mrs Dame Edith Okowa, on Wednesday June 1st, 2022 celebrated her 61st, birthday anniversary with inmates at the Sapele correctional centre.

The Celebrant Mrs Dame Edith Okowa who was ably represented by the wife of the Member Representing Sapele at the Delta State House of Assembly Mrs Eunice Anirah thank God for adding another year to her years.

Also in attendance to join the first lady was Chief Mrs Elizabeth Inoaghan, Evang Mrs Mary Diden, Mrs Isaiah Esiovwan, Mrs Onoyake, Chief Mrs Onokpasa, and Dr Mrs Solomon Ighrakpata.
The governor's wife representative, Mrs Eunice Anirah, Chief Mrs Elizabeth Inoaghan, Evang Mrs Mary Diden, Mrs Isaiah Esiovwan, Mrs Onoyake, Chief Mrs Onokpasa, and Dr Mrs Solomon Ighrakpata.    also secured the release of four prisoners to mark the celebration.

Chief Mrs Eunice Anirah while speaking with newsmen said that the essence of the celebration, was to help convert the prisoners to Christians and give them a sense of belonging, while noting that the inmates are always on the mind of people and that they have not been forgotten, while assuring them that the government cares.
She further added that celebrating with inmates gives her great joy. As her mission is to feed the hungry, care for the sick, cloth the naked and provide shelter for the homeless.

Highlight of the birthday celebration was the cutting of cake as refreshments was made available to all prisoners, while Chief Mrs Elizabeth Inoaghan gave the vote of thanks.
