The Delta State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Isaiah Bozimo Esq, has applauded the Young Lawyers Forum of the Nigeria Bar Association for its commitment to the welfare of its members at all times.
Bozimo made the commendation in his Office at Asaba, when the Executive members of the Forum led by its President, Mr. A.U.J Aki paid a courtesy visit to the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice .
He described the continuous education and mentorship Programmmes as well as the Real Estate Scheme embarked upon by the Forum as apt and worthy of emulation as a result of its multiplier effects on the overall well-being of members of the Forum.
He assured the Forum of the Ministry's support of their activities particularly the continuing education programmes and Real Estate Scheme.
Earlier, the President of the Forum , Mr. A. U. J Aki told the Attorney-General that the Forum was already intensifying efforts to organise continuous education and mentorship Programmmes for its members, adding that in doing so, it was imperative for them to pick a topic that would reflect on critical areas of law where members could encounter difficulties.
Mr. Aki stated that under their Real Estate Scheme, lawyers have the opportunity to own plots of land for themselves just as he called on Lawyers in the State Ministry of Justice to always consider it as a point of duty to come for their Bar meetings.
The Young Lawyers Forum President reaffimed their determination to learn from the older ones , explaining that one of the prevalent challenges they face was that most of their principals do not have the time to mentor them as a result of their tight engagements.
