A former aspirant of the Delta State House of Assembly, and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chieftain in the state, Mr Richard Randy Okotie has congratulated Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the incumbent speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly over his victory as the party's Governorship candidate.

Okotie, who could not hide his joy when the speaker emerged at the primaries, said Oborevwori emergence was the begining of a new dawn for the Okpe nation and Deltans in general.

  "The Rt Hon is a man of the people and somebody I know I can vouch for. His understanding of the Delta cause is something I can assure you will help Deltans in building a new and vibrant state that will certainly push us to the next level"

 "As a member of the SMART agenda by Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, it is obvious that Oborevwori is a round peg in a round hole", a man clothed in 100% local content that has endeared him to the grassroot.

He however commended Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for a smooth, free and fair primaries "I must commend the governor for a free, fair and credible primaries, the legacies the governor will pass on will certainly make us proud. 

 "He is the master of free and fair primaries that is, apart from turning Delta into a place of development and place of opportunities" adding that Deltans should be proud of him.

Sheriff is a man clothed in 100% local content that has endeared him to the grassroot.

He called on Deltans to support Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori so as to enable him emerge as the winner of next year's general governorship election.

"The battle has just started, let's support the PDP candidate so that we can continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy" he said.
