*CSP Harrison Sues For Peace Amongst Aspirants As PDP Sets To Conduct DTHA Primaries*

The Divisional Police Officer of Sapele Police Station, CSP Harrison Nwabuisi has sued for peace amongst aspirants seeking to get the party ticket as the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, conducts it's Primaries, adding that they must enshew bitterness and rancour.
Nwabuisi who invited the aspirants to his office on Friday May 20th, 2022 for a peace meeting also appealed to the aspirants to caution their followers insisting that there is no permanent enemy in the game of politics.
"We want to thank you for coming, we must let you know that you are all brothers in one way or the other, we want to assure you that security has been put in place to ensure that the primaries is peaceful.
"Please talk to your supporters, and if you notice anything unusual please let us know.
Adding that what has brought the aspirants together is bigger than what will tear them apart.
Delta State House of Assembly Member, Chief Felix Anirah, Mr Richard Randy Okotie, Chief Perkins Umukoro, Mr Festus Pemu and Mr Ighoyota Lucky were the aspirants who appended their signature.
CSP Harrison further added that the importance of signing the peace treaty is for the aspirants to ensure that there is peace during the party Primaries.
Responding, Chief Perkins Umukoro suggested that security men should be more vigilant than ever, adding that they should not give room to hoodlums, as those who do not have anything to do with the election should not be allowed to come close to the venue. He therefore emphasize on the need for more security men to be posted at the venue of accreditation down to the voting venue.
Mr Harrison Ekeleme who spoke in the same vein commended the Police and DSS for taking the initiative, he however emphasize on the need for delegates to carry a valid means of identification to avoid harrassment from security personnel.
Others who spoke at the meeting include Mr Festus Pemu, Mr Richard Randy Okotie, Mr Ighoyota Lucky and Mr Felix Ayemidejor calling on security men to be very watchful and advising those who have nothing to do with the election to abstain from the venue adding that it is an election for delegates only.
