APC Primaries: Ede Dafinone Emerges As The Senatorial Flag Bearer for Delta Central

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and renowned accountant has emerged as the Delta Central flag bearer of the APC

The Senatorial Primaries which was held at the Ughelli Kingdom Hall in Ughelli local government area of Delta State on Saturday 28th, 2022 started with the accreditation of delegates.

Dafinone, who was unopposed in the Primaries, polled 383 votes from the accredited 387 votes, while 4 of the votes was said to be void.

The chairman of the electoral panel Mr Prince Eke declared Chief Ede Dafinone as the party's candidate after counting the votes.

Ede Dafinone who spoke to newsmen after being declared winner, said that he was indeed very elated to have emerge has the party's candidate. He thanked the leadership of the APC and the delegates for choosing him.

He stated that he was confident that the APC will win the senatorial seat in the forthcoming general elections.

Today marks the beginning of a journey, a journey towards a victory for our party in Delta State. A victory for all our party's candidate, from president to HoA, he added.
