Plead with Deltans to Give Senator James Manager unflicing Support as the most Experience with Unssailable Credentials.


My attention has been drawn to the unfortunate and unbecoming comments credited to a self-styled chairman of Delta South Political Leadership and Stakeholders Forum, Mike LOYIBO as published in the Vanguard newspaper of April 22, 2022.
I  would not ordinarily dignify Mike Loyibo with a response but to set the record straight in the interest of the reading public who may be misled to believe that there exists such a forum in the first place.

For the avoidance of doubt, there is no group called 'Delta South Political Leadership Forum', this is fake. It is fake and it is unfortunate that a man like Mike Loyibo can have a space in national paper like the Vanguard to disparage personages and based on fabrication and over-ambitious political permutations. 

There is no denying the fact that Chief Edwin K. Clark, Chief Government Ekpomupolo (aka Tompolo), Hon Leo Ogor, former governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, Deputy Governor Kingsley Otuaro, Senator James Manager and others are known and authentic political leaders of Delta South senatprial district. So, attempts by any group to exclude them and arrogate political power to itself is not only an exercise in futility but clearly self-destructive.

Obviously, Mike Loyibo is the voice of Jacob but hands of Esau; but his sponsors failed woefully in their evil machinations aimed at hoodwinking the good people of Delta State, particularly the respected delegates of our party.

Only in July 2021, Chief Mike Ekayama Loyibo, in a statement published in several national newspaper in Nigeria, including the Vanguard, described Senator Manager as a worthy role model who has made tremendous contributions to not just his constituency in Delta State but to the growth and development of the Niger Delta as a whole. 

Specifically, Loyibo said about Senator James Manager thus:
"A man who has brought untold development to not just Ijaws in Delta State but to all tribes in the senatorial district. Manager has been a unifying force among all tribes that make up the entire Delta South senatorial district.

“His developmental strides have assisted in the opening up of riverine communities in the region and as he marks the sexagenarian age today, I am wishing him fruitful years ahead." That is Mike Loyibo on the true personality of Senator James Manager!

Needless to say, the Ijaw Governorship agenda 2023 is a call for justice after 32 years of the creation of Delta State. It is now a movement that has the deserved sympathy and support across the state. Therefore, it is only in the imagination of Loyibo and his cowardly petty sponsors to think that "it is for some individuals". if Loyibo is sincere about "better hands", there is no better hand than Senator James Manager anywhere in the state for the 2023 gubernatorial race by all standards. 

When Mike Loyibo said, "Even if it must be Ijaw, it cannot be James Manager", he failed yet again because the state PDP today is child tenderly nutured and built into maturity by Senator Manager. As a matter of fact, you do not talk about Delta PDP without James Manager. Unless, perhaps, Loyibo's memory is failing him. 

Senator Manager was the pioneer state PDP chairman, Commissioner under Governor James Ibori and fifth term senator. He's today the only PDP senator in the state; the hope of the party. He was responsible in the construction of the Bomadi Bridge that Loyibo passes to his community. 

What are Loyibo's pedigrees? Rather than allow himself to be reduced to a laughing stock in a preposterous effort to throw soot on a credible leader like the distinguished  national lawmaker and leading governorship aspirant.  A man who is APC in Abuja and PDP in Delta, a double face; a character of no electorial value? This same Mike loyibo who was actively involved in job racketeering in Abuja cannot be a spokesperson for Ijaw people. His current employers should be careful with him because he is a job man.
One wonders how the great Tuomo kingdom under the distinguished rulership of the most respected Hon Justice Francis F.Tabai rtd would confer a Chieftaincy on this known con- man.  This same man has moved from one aspirant to another, duping unsuspecting people in the process. Only last year, he faked a kidnapped and only for the Police and security agencies to clear air on the incidence as fake. 

The so-called Delta South Political Leadership Forum is aimed at ursurping the powers of the party delegates; and, our appeal to our dear delegates is to reject the shadowy group and continue to support for our leader, the distinguished Senator James Manager all the way. 

We seize this opportunity to put to rest Loyibo's pit-of-hell lie, that "Ijaw aspirants are negotiating a different thing other than the governorship of Delta 2023". Nothing could be more far from the truth! 

Senator James Manager is today firmly in the race and, indeed, the man with unssailable credentials to beat in the Delta PDP 2023 governorship primary election. By the grace of God, he will emerge victorious and the distinguished standard-bearer of our great party.
