Hon Moses Ogodo Inaugurate Support Group ahead of 2023 Election

Fortunes of the opposition political party in Delta state, the All Progressive Congress, APC was beefed up during the week, courtesy of the House of Assembly aspirant Hon, Moses Emokiniovo Ogodo, as he  splashed whooping cash donations to ward leaders towards the party activities in the LGA.

The occasion, which was the official inauguration of a solidarity group under the name, Moses Ogodo Support Group, ( MOSG) was largely attended by APC Sapele LGA Chairman, Mr Friday Erubasa, Coordinator, Mr Emmanuel Itor and leaders in the eleven wards.

In an address of welcome, the group Coordinator, Mr Emmanuel Itor, explained that the support body of vibrant politicians is driven  by the acknowledgement of the pedigree of Honourable Moses Ogodo, known as a tried, tested, and trusted politician, as far as Sapele political struggle is concerned.

While appealing to all and sundry to be sincere and spread the gospel towards Ogodo election under APC, he assured party faithfuls to remain steadfast and believe in the party in the actualisation of the election  of both Moses Ogodo and the Governorship aspirant, Deputy Senate President, DSP Ovie Omo- Agege come 2023.

A chieftain the the party, Sapele/ Okpe Community Chairman, Dr Patrick Akamovba, while enumerating the party’s achievements in Delta central and beyond through the blessing of the Deputy Senate President – DSP, Chief Ovie Omo-Agege, stated that  the number 5 citizen in the country, has no doubt attracted much to the area and the state in general in terms of road  reconstructions, supply of electricity transformers, educational institutions and numerous infrastructures across the state.

Moses Ogodo, Akamovba noted, by your choice for the House of Assembly is the best political judgement you have made in solidarity with his aspiration, disclosing that the siting of the National Open University and the Nigerian Police Area Command in Sapele were the initiatives of Moses Ogodo, admitting, “they were his handiworks, not mine”.

In his appreciation speech, Hon, Ogodo said he was elated by the show of love and trust showered on him by the group, assuring not to disappoint them in bringing the dividend of democracy to Sapele as a township and it’s people, saying, “i am happy and will do my best, by the grace of the Almighty Father to work with you to the end if you give me the chance to represent you at Asaba for the betterment of all and sundry.
