His Royal Majesty, Major Gen. Felix Mujakperuo Rtd Mni Cfr the Orodje of Okpe on Saturday March 5th, 2020 was joined by the Chairman of Sapele Local Government, Hon. (Chief) Eugene Inoaghan, Hon Austine Ayemidejor (PDP Chieftain) and a host of other illustrious sons of the kingdom at the Sapele Athletic Club as he officially flagged off the Orodje Golf tournament.

Speaking before he took the first struck of the tournament, Orodje appreciated sons of the kingdom that have kept golf alive within and outside Sapele.

He expressed his joy over the level of sustainability of the Athletic Club that has been in existence since 1913.

He urged all stakeholders to use the game as a means of campaign for good living amongst youths so as to enable us have a good society.

He pledged his support henceforth for the game as well as all activities at the Sapele Athletic Club.

Highlight of the event was the monarch taking the first shot at the Orodje Golf tournament 2022.

Others who witnessed the event include, Okakuro Godwin Egigba, and Okakuro Peter Asagba. 

Others are Prof Nyerovwo Tonikari, Okakuro Owumi, representatives of Seplat and golfer’s across the country.
