The Chairman of the Delta State Rural Water, Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA) Hon (Barr ) Ejaife Omizu Odebala has resigned his appointment.

The Chairman of the Delta State Rural Water, Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA) Hon (Barr ) Ejaife Omizu Odebala has resigned his appointment.

The former Commissioner and two times governorship aspirant of the state said his resignation was incompliance with the newly act electoral amendment bill.

In a letter to the governor of the state, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa through the Secretary of the state stamped today 28 February, Odebala thanked the governor for giving him the opportunity to serve the state

Part of the letter reads: 'I wish to resign my appointment as chairman of the Delta State Rural Water, Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA) with effect from today Monday, 28 February 2022. 

'The resignation is in compliance with the newly act electoral act amendment bill as I pursue my ambition for the 2023 gubernatorial election.

May I thank your Excellency for the opportunity to serve our dear state in this capacity' signed: Hon (Barr) Ejaife Omizu Odebala' the letter concluded.
